Hey Everyone!
A lot has been happening since we last spoke!

Firstly, we had a meeting with the head of finance for SAC and the chief executive as well. We decided to hold a meeting as we felt we were leaving them in the dark slightly, especially the head of finance. We got some positive feedback from them, saying they thought we seemed to have thought everything through and we were well on our way.

The slate path leading through the fence has been chosen. The slate sample that Jason provided matched Calum's large slate slabs PERFECTLY! We were very pleased at this!

The straw-bale house has been researched. A meeting was held between the constuction team and Gordon Soane, from SAC in Ayr. He had been at a seminar for lime rendering etc., and offered to put forward some of his expert advice.

In addition to all this, we have decided to hold a few fundraising events, to try to raise a little bit more cash to help out with accommodation for us poor souls. A raffle is being held at some point in the near future (date tbc), and raffle tickets are on sale from any member of the team. Prizes include everything from vouchers to "Howieson of Newmains, Quality Butcher" - a high quality butcher from Newmains, near Wishaw - to bottles of wine/whiskey/spirits etc.
